Background

A little bit about what I've done over the last couple of years.

  • 2007-2010

    Young England Polo

I have played since I was 7 and it has been a significant aspect of my life. This has been reflected in the fact that I have represented England for 3 years, and did my first tour to America when I was 12. I was the only girl playing for an all boys Young England team at the time. This resulted in me winning best playing under 16 girl in the United Kingdom (2010)

  • September 2011

Started at the University of Leeds

I studied Communications at the University of Leeds. This is an umbrella course which incorporates media, sociology and cultural studies.

  • July 2014

    Graduated from Leeds!

I graduated from Leeds with a 2:1 and a First in my dissertation on comparing differences in the BBC’s and Al Jazeera’s reporting of Syria’s chemical weapon attack. During the time frame 21st August – 4th September 2013.

  • November 2014 - February 2015

    My time at GA

During this 12-week course I was taught a range of skills to aid my goal of becoming a full stack developer. These skills include Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5. I also had a great time!
